Gamelan Burat Wangi is a student ensemble from CalArts (California Institute of the Arts), performing music and dance of Bali, traditional and modern. Under the expert direction of Dr. I Nyoman Wenten and Nanik Wenten, Gamelan Burat Wangi has staged hundreds of performances in a wide array of venues and before diverse audiences. Allen Stovall has documented many of those performances, particularly their annual Spring concerts which are part of the CalArts World Music Festival.

LA's Best is a nationally recognized after school education, enrichment and recreation program serving more than 21,000 children with the greatest needs and fewest resources throughout the City of Los Angeles.

This short promotional piece documents choice moments from a faculty training session devoted to the activity of group drumming. It also includes testimonials from faculty and staff, expressing their appreciation and enthusiasm for the program. (NOTE: testimonials are in Spanish language.)

Wedding Video Montage
Many traditional wedding ceremonies are followed by a photo session and cocktail hour, offering a welcome break from the formal activities of the day. It's a time for tenderness, and a time for fun. Bride, groom, and wedding party members fraternize while children play, all between posing for seemingly endless photographs. Then comes the reception.

As the reception winds down and scheduled events have run their course, guests and wedding party alike can often be seen in some of their most relaxed and candid aspects.

Here we present a miniature montage of a few of those golden moments.

Three Short Nature Studies, produced purely for the enjoyment and celebration of nature, particularly flowers and birds. Often, one needn't travel far to find natural beauty— two of these studies were shot entirely in the videographer's Los Angeles backyard, while the third was captured at a famous Southern California lake.
